Homemade sweet potato chips
Next weekend, when you’re
getting ready to watch a movie in the evening, try this! Simple to make,
guilt-free, and delicious.
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 2 tsp dried rosemary or other aromatic spices
- 1 tsp pure sea salt
oven to 200 oC. Peel sweet potatoes and slice them thinly (manually
or with a slicer). In a large bowl, toss sweet potatoes with coconut oil,
rosemary (or another spice you might prefer) and salt.
Place slices of
sweet potato chips in a single layer on a baking tray covered with parchment
paper. Bake for 10 minutes, then turn slices around and bake for another 10
minutes. For the last 10 minutes, watch the chips closely and pull off any
chips that start to brown, until all of the chips are baked.
The thinner that you can cut the sweet potatoes, the crispier they will become.
Personal factory of perfect taste: built-in ovens
HomeMade shape The characteristic rounded shape is one of the most beneficial features of Gorenje ovens. Inspired by traditional wood-burning ovens, it enables hot air to move around freely. Since the food is heated evenly and from all sides, it is always perfectly done: crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
